The idea of project is to keep in one shared location all file-related utilities created from case to case.
IF someone will find it useful - this is OK, if not - I'll just provide it for myself.
Basic (initial) set of utilities appeared from need to fix partially loaded RAR file where some file headers were broken. Since the rest of that file had some value and there was no way to re-get it, I searched for tools to fix it and discovered several tools that promised it but required purchase.Since this task appears to me quite rarely - I decided to check how to fix it by myself.
There's publicly available UnRAR source code that gives idea of RAR archive structure. Using this info in minimalistic way might help - and helped - me.
While "inventing the wheel" I've created relatively new (since I didn't find sources to start from) abstract and implementation of fragmented file. I'm sure it is not new by itself but since I didn't find similar implementation I still consider it as unique (for me).
