Hello -
Thank you for making this very useful tool. I have been using it for almost two years now and really appreciate this app.
I recently downloaded 0.2.1 and have experienced what I think might be a bug.
What I am seeing: I open the app and encrypt or decrypt a file. After that the encrypt and decrypt buttons are greyed out and unusable until I press the stop button. That is mildly disconcerting, and more of an incovenience than anything.
I am running Windows XP Pro with all the current patches and service packs installed.
Please let me know if you need any more information from me to diagnose the issue.
Thank you,
Peleiades

I know this issue, it's a bug in the code of JFileCrypt, not
of your system, but thank you very much fpr posting it here.
This bug will be fixed with the new version of jFileCrypt, which will
come out (as i hope) next weeks. Until this day, you can wait until the progress
bar is 100% and the output file is more or equal big as the input file.
Have a nice weekend,
ybasket

I see the a similar problem - but worse - running jfilecrytp 0.2.1 under OS X 10.4.10 on a powerbook PPC. The progress bar reaches 100% very quickly, but the jcrypt application never appears to stop (unless I click the stop button) even after several minutes, and the new file is never as big as the original file. Trying to de-crypt the new file fails - everything just stays greyed-out except the stop button.
As we now released version 0.3.1, I close this bug as it is related to an old version. Please feel free to reopen it if you feel it is still present in version 0.3.1.
