#7 fop0.95 creates bad pdf

I have a document with just a math expression at the begining, and the created pdf causes a pdf reader error (evince & acroread). If I put some text ahead of the math expression, it works fine. Attached a sample with .fo file and error message.

This didn't happen with jeuclid 3.1.0 snapshot (2008-01-19) and fop0.94.

I'm getting something similar, not sure if it's the same thing...

Running a multi-page document which processed okay with fop 0.94 and jeuclid 3.0.3... trying it with 0.95/3.1.0, the generated PDF does display in evince on Linux. When I copy that same PDF out to Windows and open with Adobe Reader, the first page doesn't display properly.

    1) on first load, the text that comes before the first math on the page will display, the rest of the page from that point on will be blank.
    2) paging forward and then back, or even allowing the Reader to be covered by another app on the screen and returning, the first page goes entirely blank and remains that way.
    3) the second and third pages display correctly.

Opening rjolly's sample.pdf in Adobe Reader, I also get a blank page. Hope this helps.

    Hello Max,

I am re-opening this case because it is not solved. It is not urgent for me since I can use jeuclid 3.0.3, but the here described problem is with jeuclid 3.1.0. I am not sure which is faulty of jeuclid 3.1.0 or fop 0.95 though, so maybe the case could be closed after all, but not before being sure (I think !)

    Thanks !
    Raphael

    Raphael,

I just tried again with JEuclid 3.1.1 and current FOP trunk, and could not replicate the error anymore. Could you please test it again with fop 0.95beta or your side?

    Thanks

    Max
