Hi
I have an issue with exporting to the JPEG file format.
It seems to output the alpha channel and therefore results in an image with a black background.

Is there any way of removing this alpha channel?

    Are you using the mml2xxx application? If so, please try to set the background color with -BackgroundColor white

    If not, please specify how you call the conversion (code snippet or command line)

    Hi,

    I've tried setting the -BackgroundColor to white but now i'm getting an orange background.
    Here is the command line that i'm using
    mml2xxx "C:\jeuclid\bin\input.xml" "C:\jeuclid\bin\output.jpg" -FontSize 18 -AntiAlias True -BackgroundColor white"

    Also, here is the contents of the input.xml file

    <math:math xmlns:math="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML">
    <math:mrow>
    <math:mtext>
    </math:mtext>
    <math:mo>∠</math:mo>
    <math:mn>2</math:mn>
    </math:mrow>
    </math:math>

    I hope this helps.
    Tomas

    Tomas,

    Java indeed ouptuts buggy jpeg when an alpha channel is used. I have fixed this now by not outputting alpha channels in jpegs. The fix is in SVN and will be available in 3.0.3 (it is also commited in the current dev. version).

    As a temp solution you can convert to PNG which is better with this types of images anyways.

    Hi Max,
    Thanks for the speedy response. I will indeed try the png format instead.

    When will the new 3.0.3 be available?

    Thanks Again,
    Tomas.
