It seems like it is an issue with the WebDAV client instead of
Davenport...maybe I am wrong. I tried another WebDAV client (besides IE
web folders) and it just complains that it received a 302 and doesn't

properly. I am not sure what the right answer is. Hopefully I have
provided enough information for you to make a good decision.
How will it affect other things if I setRedirectNullPath( false ) on
all of my contexts?

there is an option on HttpContext called redirectNullPath
There is a problem with the servlet spec in that it does not
well define what should be done with a URL that exactly
matches the contextpath. This option allows /context to
be redirect to /context/ (which is well defined).
Obviously davenport is not handling this redirection very well?

directories. ie requests to /context/dir will always be redirected
