How can I set a reference to a return value from a call to a method?
For instance, I need to do the following in the xml syntax:
ApplicationContext factory =3D new FileSystemXmlApplicationContext(
cfg =3D ( StartupConfiguration ) factory.getBean( "configuration" );
env =3D ( Properties ) factory.getBean( "environment" );
env.setProperty( Context.PROVIDER_URL, "" );
env.putAll( cfg.toJndiEnvironment() );
new InitialDirContext( env );
Is there a way to do assignment (to a reference)? Or do I need to look
at this a different way (which I'm sure is possible and I'll work that
angle in the mean-time, but I'm still curious if there is way to do
assignment). Thanks for any help!
