Version 1.0.0 is the first stable public release of JetSQLConsole, a command line/console interface for Microsoft Access databases.

This version introduces more sophisticated options for the use of command line parameters, capabilities for exporting query results to text files, and many other minor enhancements.

The first draft of the JetSQLConsole user's guide, _A Beginner's Guide to SQL and JetSQLConsole_, is now available. A PDF version and a ZIP archive containing the original source files are available for download. Source files may also be accessed via the JetSQLConsole CVS server.

Version 0.7 is the first public release for the JetSQLConsole project. While this version should be considered beta software, it has been in almost daily use for several weeks and seems quite stable.

The first several commits have been made to the JetSQLConsole CVS. For reasons I don't understand, they don't yet show up on the summary page (it's been about 24 hours), but source code is accessible directly through the SourceForge CVS (http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=163240) and now appears in ViewCVS (http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/jetsqlconsole/).

The folks at SourceForge are nothing if not efficient: my expected 2 day wait for project approval turned out to be no more than a couple of hours. As this is my first involvement as a developer of a SourceForge project, I would ask you to please bear with me for a bit while I find my way around...
