gtetrinet crash, again

Not sure I can re-open the old bug report, so I'm opening a new one...
Basically, this bug is still happening in the current 0.3 trunk (revision 860):
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=1118401&group_id=52188&atid=466002
"Running the current 0.3 svn trunk (rev 860) with my system locale
(en_US.UTF-8), I get the same problem. Gtetrinet clients don't connect. I
do get a "[INFO] Incoming tetrinet & tetrifast client 127.0.0.1:55379"
message though, but gtetrinet never seems to connect.
Launching jetrix with LC_ALL=fr_BE solves the problem, gtetrinet connects
correctly."

Well, this is strange... After running it successfully once, I don't need to set LC_ALL anymore to make jetrix connectable...
What version of Java do you use to run Jetrix, and what's your Linux distro?
I use Sun's JRE, version 6 update 20, on Arch Linux.
It's strange, I can't seem to reproduce the bug now...
