About nine years ago we committed the first JETM code fragment to sourceforge.net. Nine years have been a long time and during that timeframe JETM has been a happy sourceforge user. Nevertheless we have to admit that in recent years the overall sourceforge experience declined, and during the current JETM 1.3.0 refactorings we have noticed that it's almost impossible to work efficiently. SVN performance is pretty poor, same applies to the tracker etc. So we decided to move on and migrate the project from sourceforge.net/SVN to Github/GIT using the Github tracker and google groups mailing lists. Here are the new links: JETM at Github https://github.com/frenchc/jetm Issue tracker at Github https://github.com/frenchc/jetm/issues User Mailing List http://groups.google.com/group/jetm-user Developer Mailing List http://groups.google.com/group/jetm-developer In related news: JETM 1.3.0 is progressing. JETM CDI integration is pretty much done, same applies to JSF 2.0 integration. Most of the project is converted to Maven2 layout already, just the sample section and documentation is missing. However we encountered a couple Apache OWB, JBoss Weld and Mojarra bugs that slowed down development. We plan to release 1.3.0 in May 2013. Stay tuned! In the meantime GIT master and online documentation are slightly out of sync. You may still access the old svn state via sourceforge.net SVN URLhttps://jetm.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/jetm/tags/1.2.4-SNAPSHOT-before-mvn-conversion. Jens |

Hi all, ho Juergen! I am about to commit a few JETM enhancements next days, mainly CDI integration stuff we use for a long time now that never made it to JETM release builds. It's about time to switch to maven builds too. Juergen: I also plan to move to github. Would this be ok for you? Jens |

Hi Priyank, the only way to capture single execution times is to log the raw measurement results. Please consult http://jetm.void.fm/intro/five_minute_tutorial.html and the jetm spring config schema definition. You won't be able to see single execution times in the dashboard though. Hope this helps. Hi Team, Currently we are using JETM for analysing performance of our Spring based application. JETM dashboard shows average, max and min time for each of the method call very well , But I want to know is there a way we can configure JETM such that dashboard shows time taken by EACH CALL rather average only? Urgent reply would be highly appreciated. Thanks, Priyank. |

Hi JETM Users! JETM 1.2.0 has come a long way last days. It is pretty close to be finished, so far the migration to RRD4j is missing only. As of today we are planning to release 1.2.0 end of January - early February 2007. In the meantime please try out the current daily snapshot and report issues with it. The snapshot can be found at http://jetm.void.fm/snapshots/jetm/ and contains the following changes: - Improved spring configuration using the Spring 2.x namespace support - Persistent aggregation results - shipping with file based persistence (it's extensible though) - Improved HTTP Console I: now supporting sort and switch between collapsed/expanded mode during runtime - Improved HTTP Console II: servlet based HTTP console for better web integration - JMX Integration - Lots of minor changes, such as improved error reporting, web demo improvements, extended plugin and aggregator lifecycle and more... The snapshot contains at doc/site/index.html updated documtation. See Using JETM HTTP Console, Web application integration, Springframework integration and Aggregation persistence for updates. Migrating to the new release should be a matter of switching to the new libraries unless you implemented a custom Aggregator or Plugin. In this case you need to alter your implementation and adapt the new interfaces containing an additional lifecycle method init(EtmMonitorContext ctx). Fo= r plugins move logic in EtmPlugin#setMonitor() to this method. Thanks for your feedback. Jens Schumann |
