Release 1.12 and bug fixes

version 1.12 (configred up to Ensembl schema version 77) was released on 31-05-2012.
A bug fix version of was added on 21-06-2012.
Use artifact : ensembl-datasource-aware-model-1.13-SNAPSHOT.jar inplace of : ensembl-datasource-aware-model-1.12.jar

ENSEMBL Java API release 1_03

jensembl now uses the BioJava3-core release candidate alpha1 as a dependency. See readme.txt for details of how to import this from the BioJava maven repository.

ENSEMBL Java API goes live

ENSEMBL Java API is a demonstration architecture for accessing Ensembl Datasystems.

We have constructed a proof-of-concept skeletal implementation that demonstrates the tractability of Java Acces to Ensembl. Specifically the API provides access to all versions of databases at Ensembl and EnsemblGenomes. It implements limited functionality to demonstrate data retrieval from current core databases, mapping between CoordinateSystems and mapping transparently between database versions where there has been a change in schema requiring alternate data access methods.... read more
