Shouldn't it be the other way around? That is, a new widget to show the relative position of the scroll bar? The current widget is about the position of the caret. Actually, the scroll bar itself shows its own relative position, so I think a status bar widget to show the same thing is redundant. Either way, the current implementation is inconsistent. "Bot" follow the caret position, "Top" follows the scroll bar. |
