I've been able to reproduce all the functionality that I had in UltraEdit thanks to the plugins. Anyway, I found an annoying problem using jEdit to work with Tcl files. here is some code # a comment line and more code If I select the previous block and I choose to Toggle Line comment, I get #here is some code # a comment line #and more code Of course, when I want to toggle again, the original commented line is lost. I known it's a tricky situation, but when I comment big blocks of code, my only solution is undo :( Thanks a lot. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ian Lewis (ian_lewis) Date: 2007-06-16 09:44 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=478898 Originator: NO This is fixed is SVN. The solution we came up with in the mailing list was to comment like so: # here is some code # # a comment line # and more code so that when you uncomment it the original comment is restored. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=565475&aid=1575159&group_id=588 |
