Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: LHEZ Gael (myshforum) Assigned to: Jeffrey Hoyt (jchoyt) Summary: ShortcutDisplay: latest plugin does not show short cut popup Initial Comment: As said, the Shortcut Display plugin does not show anymore the popup which display the whole short cup starting from a prefix (like Ctrl + D, etc). jedit version: 1.3pre6 I'll go test with 1.3pre7 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Jeffrey Hoyt (jchoyt) Date: 2007-04-27 17:20 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=396194 Originator: NO Alan said: "I tihnk the dialog that pops up should be a child window of the current view, and the position it uses/remembers for future times should be relative to the upper left corner of that view, similar to how dockables when they're floating position themselves." I thought that's what I was doing with the GUIUtilities..... I was thinking of putting a "Reset Position" button on the options pane that would remove the location properties. Would that help? I will try with 1.3.0 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert Schwenn (rschwenn) Date: 2007-04-19 16:16 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1486645 Originator: NO For me, Shortcut Display Version 1.2 didn not show the popup, too. But Version 1.3 works. I'm not sure, if any positioning related properties have changed since my last try. But may be, there has happend a bugfix. jEdit 4.3pre9 Java 1.6.0_01 (also tested 1.5.0_06) WinXP SP2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Alan Ezust (ezust) Date: 2007-04-19 15:18 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=935841 Originator: NO I tihnk the dialog that pops up should be a child window of the current view, and the position it uses/remembers for future times should be relative to the upper left corner of that view, similar to how dockables when they're floating position themselves. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: LHEZ Gael (myshforum) Date: 2006-10-16 07:02 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=371121 Bugged in 4.3pre7 too.
