Bryan, I do indeed frequently and inadvertently activate drag-and-drop text editing in applications that implement it and I dislike it. It also tends to interact badly with double-click-and-drag (to extend selection by words). I dislike all the "helper" functionality that's au courant these days: auto-completion, neon-sign text coloring, drag-and-drop text movement, etc. In the bicycling world, I'm what's called a "retro-grouch." Again, I request that this feature be an _option_ not mandatory.
