I've been running into a rather annoying glitch in the perl syntax module that I'm pretty sure is related to the current implementation of the syntax engine.. anyway, this isn't a request for the engine to be updated (since I know it's already on the todo list) but rather a request to any of the perl programmers out there to see if they have come up with a workaround... my problem is this.. I have a has element that's also an array: @{$hash{field}} pretty standard stuff... anyway, currently, the @{ triggers jEdit to highlight all of the text up to } which is fine and dandy if I'm doing something like @{$variable}, but in this case, the } after "field" is used, leaving the program to interpret the trailing } as a code-block brace, which completely screws up the code block identification pretty much from that point onward.... Anyway, has anyone else gotten annoyed enough at this to actually find a workaround? or find out if there isn't one? -Chris |
