But, even if you could click on the line numbers to create markers, you still have quite a lot of space that's devoted to the folding feature. The square box and the whitespace next to it all are usable for folding. It looks like Slava already has something in the works for using the mouse with markers, so this may be a moot point, but I'm sure there could be a compromise on the interface..
