I was planning to add the ability to assign buffer shortcuts to the
SwitchBuffer plugin. Though I am not sure whether I myself would use
this feature very much, some users have mailed me saying that such a
feature would be helpful.
The idea is that you choose a prefix key (say Alt-Shift), then assign
mnemonics (a-zA-Z0-9) to the buffers that are open. Then, you can switch
to a particular buffer using prefix key & mnemonic. (Alt-Shift-a)
Ofcourse I'll try and make sure that such an assignment can be quickly
done with the keyboard without using the mouse. But I am wondering
whether many people would actually use such a feature ?
