Yeah, this is what I was doing. It was driving me crazy because I'm so used
to Home, End, and their Shift counterparts zooming me around from start to
finish. I reset all four of them and its working how I like now.

Yeah, I never liked that "smart home" style behavior either. Usually when I <home>, it's to do some line-level editing. If I want the first non-whitespace, I'll just <home> and then <ctrl>-<right>.
