Here is a quicky request... (that I have already implemented) Can the VFS Plugins Menu items be added to the context menu when you click on a file. I like being able to right click directly on a jar/zip file and select "Browse Archive" instead of selecting the file then going to the VFS toolbar to choose the Plugins button/Browse Archive I have completed the code for the change in BrowserCommandMenu.java I coded it to add an extra menu below the "Open With Encoding" sub menu on the VFS. - line 86: add the new menu add(createPluginsCommandsMenu()); - new method "createPluginsCommandsMenu" - new ActionListener "PluginsMenuItemActionHandler" I pretty much copied the ActionListener from VFSBrowser.java. It works for me but you probably want to add/change something. If you like this idea, let me know how to submit the code (via the developers list?, as a diff ?) tom ---------------- WebARTS Design ---------------- Tom Gutwin +1-604-626-9242 tg...@we... http://www.webarts.bc.ca ---- Engineering Your Computer Solutions... ---- Try our Free Ogg Vorbis Player http://www.webarts.bc.ca/joggplayer |

Tom, In jEdit 4.1 I want to change the file system browser's handling of its menu items to make them more inline with the standard jEdit action API. So changes to the current code will not apply in the future, sorry. On Sat, 2002-04-27 at 06:02, Tom Gutwin wrote: > Here is a quicky request...
