Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Project Viewer loops searching for deleted project Initial Comment: Before my laptop died because the battery was empty, I had removed one of the projects from the Project Viewer plugin. This caused the project's .xml file to be removed, but the project was still listed in ~/.jedit/projectviewer/pv.xml. When jEdit started, the Project Viewer went into an infinite loop continuously trying to load the deleted project's xml file. The following messages were repeated cointinuously at stdout/stderr: [warning] String: Cannot read config file foo.xml [warning] ProjectManager: Error loading project. Manually removing the deleted project from ~/.jedit/projectviewer/pv.xml helped, but it's be better to give a warning to the user that states the project can't be found and will be deleted from the list. Another strange thing: After I added the line with the missing project again and started jEdit, the infinite loop didn't occur anymore. It simply showed an empty project... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=565475&aid=1336155&group_id=588 |
