I understand that "OutOfMemoryError" crash jEdit. But
when I run jEdit again ALL settings was set to Default
(eg. colors, docking, toolbar, plugins...)

jEdit 3.2pre9
Windows NT 4.0
jdk 1.3.1

Was this your first run of jEdit ever?

I'm asking because: if jEdit crashed before a clean exit it
had never any chance to save your settings. (This could be
changed, however, by saving the settings periodically.)

If not, this is a severe bug that needs further
    investigation.

Your activity.log indicates a clean exit. Did you receive
any other messages, e.g. on a console shell? Is this error
reproducable with a certain amount of memory consumption,
e.g. while loading an extremely large file?

I have same problem, and no, isn't my first run. I was
using [Style] and [Colors]in [Global Options] several times
until jEdit crash. I was looking for a good color schema.

I have only 128 Mb (RAM) and jEdit has -mx32m parameter
    when error apears.

    Thanks!
