No

1. Open jEdit
2. Create a new view so you've got two windows.
3. Open multiple files
4. Have both views working on the same file.
5. Close that file in one of the views.

The focus will switch to the other view.

I believe that the non-active view should silently discard the contents, and leave focus with the currently active view.

Bug exists as of revision 8249.

I confirmed this at r11455 (with -nosettings) with JDK 1.6.0u3 and
    Windows XP.

I noticed that, calling two view as view-1 which is created on startup
and view-2 which is created by user, this bug happens only if I close
the file from view-1 (focus is moved to view-2). Closing from view-2
    keeps the focus on view-2.

Is this still an issue? If so, with what bufferset scope?
I can not reproduce this with jEdit 5.0pre1.
