control keys fails in jedit 4.2pre11 (but also earlier 4.2-
versions) with j2sdk150beta1, winxp
It works for a while, then all control keys, for instance
control-V and arrow keys, stop responding.

No such problem in with earlier jsdk versions.
But I have seen the same thing with earlier 4.2 pre
releases.
I have never gotten any jedits to work with 1.5.0 for
this reason,
but I have not tested many versions.

I have not used 1.5.0 for anything else yet, so I do not
know if
this is jedit specific or not.

winver says Microsoft Windows
Versjon 5.1 (Build 2699.xpsp2.030422-1633: Service
Pack 1)
- this is a Norwegian WinXP up to date with the latest
windows update.

I grouped this as a normal bug because it prevents me
from playing with j2sdk1.5.0 !

I use jedit every day and night, and it is very useful for
me!

I get the same problem using
    java full version "1.5.0-beta-b32c"
on WinXP pro (all MS updates etc applied).

After the keys stop working, can you try the keyboard tester
    and tell me the output?

The output from the keyboard tester for for instance
control S which does NOT work (shown below) is IDENTICAL
to the keyboard tester output when Control S works:

    Event
    KEY_PRESSED,keyCode=0x11,keyChar=0xffff,modifiers=0x2
    filtered
    Event
    KEY_PRESSED,keyCode=0x53,keyChar=0x13,modifiers=0x2
    passed
    ==> Translated to C<0,73>
    Event KEY_TYPED,keyCode=0x0,keyChar=0x13,modifiers=0x2
    filtered
    Event
    KEY_RELEASED,keyCode=0x53,keyChar=0x13,modifiers=0x2
    passed
    Event
    KEY_RELEASED,keyCode=0x11,keyChar=0xffff,modifiers=0x0
    filtered

Today I worked with text and java for several hours before
    the problem
appeared, and I dont know what trigged it. After restarting
jedit (without for instance closing all files)
the control keys worked normally again.

AFAIK this is fixed in later 1.5 betas.
