opening a file by dragging from windows explorer
doesn't work if the text area that you drop the file on
contains a read-only buffer.

I've checked this bug here (also win2k, jdk1.4.2 and actuall
jedit 4.2p6) and it stays the same here.
So here's some additional information.
It seems that jedit creates a new buffer if a file is
"dropped" into it but when the view display's a read only
buffer at the very moment then it refuses to be a valid
place to drop something. (mouse cursor is showing the
