#4 Text Copy Stopped Working

First of all - JEDIT is terrific - way better than "pay for it" editors I have. Kudos to the developers and contributors, great job!!!

The Problem:

I have suddenly had jedit stop allowing me to select and copy or select-drag-and-drop text.

The global options are set to allow text copying and all seems fine as far as any settings go that I can find. e.g., Drag and drop in text area is checked.

Text copying works in any other program and was working in jedit. More information:

Ver 4.2 final

Copying does not work with any file, even a new file.
Have tried the usual restarts. No change in result.

Running XP home with 2gb

Any help is appreciated.
