I have checked the release notes for 2.34. There is no item related to this hidden switch. But the behaviour in previous versions is that specifying the setting file with -config can override registry value without any error and the pascal file is formatted according to the -config setting file.
I have tested 2.34. The new behaviour is that a modal error dialog is shown.
Because Code Beautifier Collection (http://code.google.com/p/lextudio) relies on the old behaviour so is it possible to get that back? Or this change is intended and the new behaviour will be kept for future versions?
