The specification of the XML roundtripping implies that
a root node can be exported and imported again but not
as a root node of a workspace. The roundtripping of the
root node leads to the creation of an additional node
with the name 'jcr:root'. It could be possible to avoid
this creation by ignoring the root node during an
import. Thus, the content under the root node would be
imported directly under the target node.

This behaviour should be configurable, possibly
dynamically.
