JDiskCat 1.5.0 released.

-Catalog files are now by default compressed to save space. There are stored as zip archives. It can be disabled in Options>Cataloguing>Write zipped catalog files. This version supports both compressed (.zip) and uncompressed (.xml) catalog files. Previous versions support only uncompressed xml files. Zipped catalog files from this version can be manually uncompressed to be loaded in the previous version of JDiskCat.
-New option: skip hidden files and folders. Note: some system files are not displayed in Finder on MacOS, but can't be detected as hidden by java. These items can also be added to the exclusion list to be omitted.
-Definable exclusion list: file and directory names that won't be included in catalog files.

JDiskCat 1.4.3 released.

-New option: case-insensitive file sorting during catalog generation (non-Windows OS only) to disable case-sensitive sorting that puts all files and folders starting with capital letters first (A.. to Z before a.. to z..). You will need te re-scan drives after changing this option.
-New option: use system look and feel. Disabling this option will result in standard java multiplatform look of application controls, like buttons and menus.

-New option: skip cataloguing symlinks/aliases. Symlinks can cause undesired loops while cataloguing if they point to the parent directory of the symlink's location. Also reduces catalog size and cataloguing duration.
-Fixed xml catalog file generation when source volume contains files or folders with obscure characters in their names.

-Windows: alternative volume drive letter detection (if drive letter changed since last scanning). External drive letter sometimes changes on Windows, so it was added to prevent error when opening selected file in registered application/opening containing folder.
-Various small fixes.

Version 1.2.0 released.

After a long research, over 400 new lines of code added and a lot of code modified a new version with a remodeled and improved search window is released.

-New remodeled search window with new search modes: searching by size and by date. Both feature multiple options of comparison: <, <=, =, >=, >, between two values. When these modes are enabled entering search phrase is not obligatory. Date includes also time for greater accuracy.
-Search results now can be sorted.
-Some speed optimizations of the search code.
-Some small interface improvements, mostly fixed untranslated tool tips.
-Some bug fixes.
-Removed unused AbsoluteLayout library. Only JDK is used.
-Code cleanup.
