well, to be honest, i haven't done any work on jDiff for a while. as it
stands, the main reason for this is that all i have to do is type 'diff -u
file1 file2 > file.diff ; jedit file.diff' to get a diff utility that is
adequate for my purposes. actually, i usually don't even bother with using
an editor for highlighting, since i can find and hihglight changed lines
easily enough in less(1) with a simple regular expression.
i can't say what is needed to spur jDiff development. i'm going to spend a
few hours looking at what i've got here and try to figure things out.
