Hello all, JDFTx 1.2.0 was released today bringing major memory enhancements and substantial performance enhancements for variable fillings (metal) variational calculations. See http://jdftx.org/ChangeLog.html for further details and a list of other changes. Also, the development version on git now includes Gaussian and Cold smearing options that introduce more flexibility for metal calculations. Hi all, I uploaded a new tarball. See the (new) change log on the website for details. Note that the website itself is also versioned, and you can browse archived versions of the website through the change log. The change log is also generated by Doxygen from doc/ChangeLog.dox in the source. So when you commit a serious-enough change, quickly add or alter an entry in the top "Unversioned" section of the change log. (Add such a section when it doesn't exist, which will only be right after a tarball release, like right now.) That section will then be curated and renamed to the next release whenever that happens. Best, Shankar |

Dear all, I have registered the jdftx.org domain for the software homepage. So if you do, please recommend people to visit this page instead of the sourceforge one directly. This also gives us the flexibility to seamlessly switch to other hosting later, if we deem that necessary.
