Thanks Shyamal for your response. Vincent: yes this is a known issue. Is there anyway you can respond to the bug or add comments to this effect? Also, Shyamal has recently updated the install docs he mentioned (and did a great job), which includes the CEDET compilation step. Let me know if you have any further question. Sorry you have to be the first to get this to compile this way under windows, but we'll continue work to get it to work and put that back in the repo for others on windows. Thanks all!
