JDBWC version 1.0.1-1rc committed to svn

JDBWC version 1.0.1-1rc (Release Candidate) has been committed to svn.
http://jdbwc.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/jdbwc/DriverBundle/JDBWC_1.x.x/branches/v1.0.1.1rc/
Production testing has been good so far and seems to indicate its stable enough for real world use. I have been testing this version in a threaded production application with encouraging results.
The downloads area will be updated with the new package this month (2012-03).

Some areas have not been fully implemented, most of these shortcomings are listed in the installation instructions. For general use it should be fine but that really depends on what your codes JDBC requirements are. If you intend to use the driver in a project, its recommended to take advantage of the advanced resultset handling capabilities. These are demonstrated in the jdbwctest source package. Basically the driver can return multiple results in a single transmission allowing you to send multiple queries to the database at once either via a JDBC batch or using the basic query methods.

If anyone wishes to leave some feedback about this release it would be helpful for further development. As usual I can only afford a limited amount of time for development on this project but try to give it a good look in at least once per year.

If anyone wishes to contact me directly I can be contacted via my sourceforge profile (oz-devworx).

Regards,
Tim Gall
