Getting Started from CVS

Is the CVS source the best place to get started? I have d/l it and compiled it, but the API has obviously changed compared to that documented on the jdbm site itself.

Also, what is the difference between the HTree and the BTree stuff? The older version is a little bit simpler, so I am not sure which is the 'official' one to use.

Yes, CVS is the best place to start.  You can grab the latest code from the home page, actually.

The CVS version contains some bug fixes as well as refined APIs.  Those APIs will form the basis of the 1.0 version.

I will update the site shortly (javadoc & examples)

Alex this gives me the opportunity to ask if you will be releasing again anytime soon?

I will release a 1.0RC1 (release candidate) before Sept. 1st and if everything goes well, a final 1.0 version by October 1st.
