This issue should not be differing from
Camera to Camera.

If you have access to both Canon and Kodak
pictures please see the following for each
camera:

1. Camera Clock

2. Output of the command:

jhead <jpeg picture of camera>

  See if the Date/Time section of the
  output shows correctly the picture time.

3. Check what time jdatestamp stamps. Please
   use -debug 5 and send me the output.

Please reply with the above info and also
the TimeZone settings of your PC and also
if Daylight Savings is checked.

Let me know even if the issue is resolved.
