references to external programs should by via symbolic link defined in the "prod3" directory, the link for cd-hit is missing. The readme file should be modified to include definition of this link, and the dbutils/findClusters.pl program should be modified to use it.
option -G fails and should be deprecated and removed from the VIGOR -h message and from the readme file.
