I'm working in an environment where using RMI is not an option. I'm using Jackrabbit 1.6. To be able to connect to that repository remotely using JCRBrowser, I implemented a plugin that supports the WebDAV remoting protocol. It uses the jcr2spi and spi2dav libraries from Jackrabbit 1.6.

The attached ZIP file contains the Eclipse project with the source code of that plugin. Note that because of SourceForge's file size restriction (256kB), the ZIP doesn't include the dependency JARs.

    Hi Andreas,

sorry for getting back to you so late but for some reason I didn't get notified for Tracker changes. I've just seen this entry. I will test it and get back to you soon. Thanks you very much for your effort!

    Best,

    Sandro

    Hello again,

would you mind putting your contribution under the Apache 2 license and include the license header to the files? I'm very excited about this contribution and it might be also good as a reference for a corresponding Eclipse JCRM connector.

    Cheers,

    Sandro

    Hi Andreas,
your webdav connector works like a charm. Can we continue the discussion at the JCRBrowser mailing list?

    Best,

    Sandro

Uploaded a new ZIP with license headers included.

I hereby license my contribution under the terms of the Apache License.

    Regards,

    Andreas
