Maybe you can crosscheck that the RMI-URL does not contain invalid characters or leading or trailing whitespaces and that also the nodes do not contain invalid characters. If nothing quick helps I guess one would just need to debug to find out what causes "java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: Files/Apache".
