We thought about the issue of internationalization (i18n)
for JCommander, but we didn't do it yet because we don't
really have a stable version (at least from our point of
view) and because no one has requested this yet.
We expect the 0.80 release to be a stable one and we would
like to deal with this feature request. However, we will
need help to do this. Would you be available for helping out
in doing the translation to one of the non-English languages?

German is great. A Latin translation would be at least fun.
A motto comes to my mind: "JCommander, the empire's file
apparatus" :-)) And the motto for ancient Greek:
"JCommander, the philosophers' file tool" :-)
I think that the best would be to set up the i18n mechanisms
with all strings externalized and later on we can focus on
translations. But translating the currently minimalist help
is also an issue...

This is great! I will set up the i18n mechanisms, revise the
text and let you know when there's going to be some well
defined text to translate.

Unfortunately, I can provide only German, unless you are
interested in Latin and ancient Greek...
