    Hi there,
    This is the same post as the one I created in "Support Requests". Since I have not received any response, I'm posting here as well.
    The problems:
    1. Downloaded three times, twice the file was
    corrupted(the installer itself reported it).
    2. Installed, without changing any install options and
    at the end of the installation, when the jCommander
    started, I've got this error message:
    "Badly formed URI "D:".
    3. The window is empty(except the menu and toolbar) so
    I tried opening a tab. Got this error message:
    "Invalid absolute URI "file://D:".

    I'm guessing this should be the highest severity issue,
    since the application does not do anything.

    Also, I'm not sure why the jCommander is looking at D:
    drive but it might be because I have moved my "My
    Documents" folder to D: and this system variables have
    changed:
    HOME=D:\ HOMEDRIVE=D:
    HOMEPATH=\

    The log file is attached in the entry I created on "Support Request".

      Sorry for the delayed response. I think that I have identified the problem with JCommander. The way we build up the default directory name does not work when the user's home directory is the root drive on Windows. The resulting Commons VFS URL is not valid ("file://D:") and should rather be "file://D:/". A small thing, indeed, but it is enough for it not to work.

      As a first step, I have created this bug report: 1463794 "[win32] Cannot open tabs when home directory is the root" at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1463794&group_id=35271&atid=413695

      Please let's continue the discussion over there. If you would happen to have a SourceForge user ID, you could be notified on the evolution of the bug report.
