I am relatively new to JCom and I must say I'm impressed. I was just wondering if there is any interest out there in using JCom and MS Internet Controls to unit test webpages.
The obvious advantage is that we do not need to build an emulated browser. (which is where I see almost all attempts to build web testing fail...they eventually end up with lotsa browser incompatibilities)
What do you guys think?
That could be cool and useful. Has it been done before?
Also when it comes to browser scripting from Java, I would probably have a look also at Eclilpse's SWT.
I am actualy in desparate need of an Internet Explorer Browser Control for Java... Been experimenting with different Java to Com implementations for days... would be appreciated if anyone had one working
sorry, was under anony... this is my account if anyone has an ie implementation for java
