Move from Forum to 'users' mail list

jCharts is going to move from using a Forum for users to a mailing list.

Forums
------------------
pros: easier to use (no subscription)
cons: post and forget; less community

Lists
----------------
pros: all posters subscribed to list so everyone gets the message, chance for more community
cons: have to subscribe

Any comments?
