Hi Jani, > i am running the client on the same machine on which Jboss is=20 > running ...but i am using the ip of my system.. What do you mean? Do you have 2 IP's setup in your system? What OS are you running? > Connection refused on my client...i am briefly pasting the=20 > first few lines of debug i got .... >=20 > Retrieving content from :=20 > http://222.222.0.132:8080/invoker/JNDIFactory=20 > ContentLength:=20 > -1 > ContentType: null=20 > Exception=20 > javax.naming.NamingException: Failed to retrieve Naming=20 > interface. Root exception is=20 > java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect OK a few questions: Do you have jetty or tomcat running on port 8080? Did you direct your web browser to this URL and where you able to access it? If you are using jetty do you see a log message like this: 18:22:25,762 INFO [jbossweb] Started SocketListener on 0.0.0.0:8080 on JBoss startup? Maybe your web server is setup to listen on connection for localhost only and therefore you will not be able to access it over 222.222.0.132. Regards, Sebastian |
