I would suggest you take a look at the examples on the following wiki http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=JBossMQ.
It should be as simple as reading/writing files to and from byte arrays and sending and receiving them as JMS byte messages (javax.jms.ByteMessage). If you need anymore details post a new message on the JBossMQ user forum and I'll address any specific questions you may have BUT look at the examples first.
