You could use SIGQUIT (kill -3 or ctrl-break) to start / stop capturing data.

But how do you specify the options ? With Embedded EJB3 there is no run.bat to add JAVA_OPTS.

You have to specify at the JVM level, right?

When you start your application, pass -XrunjbossInspector:,options...


a Control-break will start captrutin.
Another will stop capturing.


You don't need any library on classPath (besides the DLL) fro this.
