Hi , I would like to contribute Jboss. Before that i have to run the testsuite and find out how the architecture is... I have downloaded testsuite from the jboss site, but am not sure how i can run the test suite ? Do i need to setup a JBoss Server for that ? If somebody could help that should be very much appreciated. Thanks & Regards, PV View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3884485#3884485 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3884485 |

Hi, I want to begin to contribute with JBoss project. I will start with the eas= y :) JBMICROCONT-30 "bug", with it, I pretend to understand the bugtracking= process and start reading the kernel code. Yesterday I ask for cvs access (today I haven=C2=B4t received an asnwer) to= cvs admin. My question is, how can I do a request to resolve this bug? cvs access is not granted until you have contributed fixes/enhancements via patches using jira that demonstrate you understand the codebase, and testsuite. Hi, I'm working on a performance analysis tool in Java for JDK1.5.0 and was wondering whether JBoss still requires a performance analyis framework. I think I read somewhere sometime there was some work being done in that area. I should like to investigate ways of collaborating with JBoss to develop some better (Jboss-specific?) requirements for this framework to increase the usability of it overall. The project is here: http://patty.sourceforge.net. (Future) features are listed. Current stage is alpha. Get the CVS sources to have a look at the features I'm planning to release end of this week ( alpha-1.0 ). Let me know if there is any interest in this area. I'm in fact re-implementing our JVMPI module as JVMTI at this moment. JVMPI already have a way to turn on / of. And I will be respecting that feature. I will have a super class for Loggers, and it will be easy to decide wether to send data to a separate machine, or to log files. It would be great to have your contributions... Hi, I don't think I'd have time to contribute at this time, but I may decide otherwise in the future. All the sources are in CVS though and there may be some ideas or explanations in the comments that are useful for your own development. It's very widely commented in the native library, but windows-specific still at the moment.
