2.0 branch is 2.0.1 in the future when we release, to get it :

I did checkout jboss-portal by "cvs co -r JBoss_Portal_Branch_2_0 co jboss-portal"

What is the difference between jboss-portal and jboss-portal-2.0?

"cvs co -r JBoss_Portal_Branch_2_0 co jboss-portal-2.0"

jboss-portal-2.0 is an alias that contains jboss-portal + some other CVS modules

likewise for 2.2 we have a jboss-portal-2.2 alias

do a checkout on the file CVSROOT/modules, this is where the modules are defined
