Initial Comment:
I moved the jbossjb7.jar into the jbuilder lib/ext directory

When I try to create an EJB I get the error that JBoss is 
not configured.  When I strart up JBoss everthing apears 
to be successfull. I am new to JBoss so I may be doing 
something very stupid

The JB7 version is on it's way. There is a beta out.

In JBuilder6 you need to setup the JBoss tabs under "Tools |
Enterprise Setup | Application Servers". I'm guessing the
menu layout it roughly the same in JB7.
