How to Install

Fabrizio Grassi

In order to install Jbookshelf on your computer, you must follow these few easy steps:
First of all you have to download it from sourceforge.net or by clicking on the button below

Then you must extract the whole package, from the archive, in your favorite directory, so that a sub-directory called "Jbookshelf" appear.
Most operative systems let you start it by double-clicking on "Jbookshelf.jar", in this case you can create a link that points to it and place it on your desktop or where ever you like. Other ways are: to open a console, change directory to the one you installed Jbookshelf and run "java -jar Jbookshelf.jar"; to create a script that do all previous steps for you.

One of the most important features of Jbookshelf is that it is not system dependent, it only rely on java, so if you install it on a usb storage(hard disks, sticks, memory cards etc...), YOU CAN ALWAYS BRING YOUR COLLECTIONS WITH YOU!

Enjoy it!
