I've been trying to find a blogging client for Linux.
Most of the tools range from pretty bad to truly awful.

JBlogEditor is about the best of the bunch. The biggest
omission that I've found so far is that there is no
support whatsoever for images, apart from the Flickr
upload wizard. There isn't even a button to insert an
<img> tag.

It would be great if you added some support for
inserting images, dropping images onto the editor, and
uploading images via FTP.

Windows Live Writer does a really good job of this:

WLW also has decent picture editing capabilities, but
that would be a lot more work to add to JBE.

Tips for getting JBlogEditor working on Ubuntu/Kubuntu:
1. Install the 'mozilla-browser' and 'mozilla-psm'
packages.
2. Add
export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/lib/mozilla/
to your .bashrc.
