The time showing in JBidwatcher is an hour behind the daylight savings time here in Perth - Western Australia.

So it isnt sniping until an hour after the auction is over. Times have been changed in Windows and the bios but
still getting the problem. Have tried haveing "Time Synchronization" option ticked and unticked. Made no difference. Ahhh and I was sooo going to win one this morning. :(

    Greetings,
Try downloading Java 1.6 if you can (i.e. for Linux or Windows), because (I believe) it includes the timezone update for the Australian timezone change. If that's not correct, then it's a recent Windows update. I don't recall which, but one of those two mentioned explicitly the Australian timezone issue. (In retrospect, I think it's the Windows update stuff...)

I'm not sure it'll fix it, but it's worth a try.

I rely pretty heavily on the timezone support of the system, which is both Java and Windows in this case. I don't know what else to suggest, offhand...

Hi, thats for that. I've got the windows update which causes the windows time to have an added option which just gets ticked. "Adjust for daylight savings" Which alters the time on windows but now in JBidwatcher. I tried changing the time zone to one that GMT+9 (In my case to make up for the hour ie TOKYO and that makes the time correct on JBidwatcher. So I'll see how that goes. Cheers

sry I was typing in the dark.. supposed to say "Which alters the time on windows but NOT in JBidwatcher" The changing time Zones thing appears to be working though. :)
